The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) has been working in collaboration with Griffith University Australia for the past 10 years. This collaboration includes various activities, such as joint research, joint publications, and visiting professors, with various funding sources. For example, the World Class Professor 2017 and Adjunct Professor 2022 activities are funded by UNDIP’s World Class University (WCU). Collaborative research and scientific publications in 2018 was funded by LPPM UNDIP International Publication Research, in 2019 by the Directorate of Research and Community Service of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Education, in 2021 by the Indonesian Collaborative Research Program (PPKI) of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Education, and in 2023 by LPPM UNDIP International Publication Research. World Class Professor in 2018 was funded by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Education and in 2022 by the Ministry of Research and Technology. From these various collaboration schemes, various Scopus indexed international journal articles have been produced in the area of career development. In addition, various activities have also been carried out, both at UNDIP and Griffith University, such as guest lectures, workshops, and peer mentoring.

The collaboration continues with an invitation to Prof. Dian Ratna Sawitri as an adjunct professor at Griffith University for the period 2022 – 2025. To accept the invitation, Prof. Dian Ratna Sawitri visited Australia from April 17 – 23, 2023. Her arrival at the School of Applied Psychology, Griffith University, was kindly welcomed by the Head of School, Prof. David Neumann and the Dean of Learning & Teaching (Griffith Health), Prof. Michelle Hood. Prof. David Neumann and Prof. Michelle Hood said that the collaboration that has been established between the School of Applied Psychology and the Faculty of Psychology UNDIP is expected to continue, and the number of areas of collaboration carried out can increase. Prof. Dian Ratna Sawitri agreed with the statement, she said that increasing the network can expand the collaboration area, so that the sustainability of cooperation is maintained.

For example, in the 4th International Conference on Psychological Studies (IC-PSYCHE) 2023, the Faculty of Psychology UNDIP involved Prof. Melanie Zimmer-Gembeck as one of the keynote speakers. During her visit to Griffith University, Prof. Dian Ratna Sawitri specifically conducted finetuning international scientific publications with Prof. Peter Creed, Prof. Michelle Hood, and research meetings with several PhD students engaging in the area of career development. Prof. Dian Ratna Sawitri’s visit to Griffith University was followed by the initiation of cooperation with James Cook University. The arrival of the Dean of the UNDIP Faculty of Psychology at Douglass Campus, Townsville, was welcomed by the Head of Professional Program, Graduate Certificate in Career Development, Dr. Natalia Veles.

The cooperation initiation was attended by Dr. Natalia Veles, Dr. Sujin Kim, Dr. Ben Archer, and Dr. Elizabeth Knight to formulate potential collaboration areas and finalize the Implementation of Agreement. In the future, it is hoped that the UNDIP Faculty of Psychology will continue to expand its network to other universities in Australia in order to strengthen its international network in supporting UNDIP as a world class university.
