Faculty of Psychology Undip hosted the 58th Kartini Day and Halal Bihalal in the event of Eid al-Fitr 1444 H organized by Dharma Wanita Persatuan Universitas Diponegoro. These two celebrations were held in the same day because of the close proximity of the two events. The purpose of this activity is to provide a place to maintain friendship by taking a special theme that emphasizes the role of women as nation building.
With the theme “Self-Reflection to Become a Strong and Outstanding Woman”, it was held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Prof. Darmanto Jatman Hall, Faculty of Psychology Undip. The activity opened by the Rector of Universitas Diponegoro Prof. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum, also supported SDG’s by implementing SDG’s 4, namely quality education, SDG’s 5 gender equality, and SDG’s 17 partnership for the goals.
The speaker was Mrs. Dra. Hj Hasbiyah Basir Iskandar with moderator Mrs. Asih Budiastuti Yos Johan Utama, S.H, CN. who is the Head of DWP Universitas Diponegoro. This activity was attended by Undip DWP administrators and members, Undip Faculty of Psychology structures, BTN and BNI banks as partner banks, and other invited guests.
It is hoped that this activity can strengthen the enthusiasm of women to take a strategic role in the development starting from the smallest unit, which is the family to the wider community, balanced by increasing spiritual awareness.
