The Psychology Research Ethics Committee of Diponegoro University (KEPPU) Established on April 1, 2022
KEPPU is an independent body within the Faculty of Psychology, Diponegoro University, tasked with reviewing proposed research protocols.
KEPPU is responsible for approving (or rejecting), monitoring, and evaluating psychological, social, and biomedical research involving humans as research subjects.
A research study can directly affect the physical and psychological condition of its subjects. Therefore, KEPPU aims to protect the rights and welfare of humans who participate as research subjects.
Respecting and protecting research subjects (respect for persons).
Ensuring fairness toward research subjects (justice).
Ensuring that research is morally acceptable to the local research community (beneficence).
