The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Diponegoro has once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening the collaborative network between the campus and its alumni through a community service activity held at the Nahdlatul Muslimin Kudus Islamic Boarding School from October 20–22, 2025. This activity was initiated by Chasan Nafi’, a 2011 alumnus of the Undip Faculty of Psychology. The community service consisted of career counseling services for MTs and MA students, as well as for the committee members of the pesantren’s anniversary and grand reunion. Lecturers from the Faculty of Psychology, along with the Psychological Services Team (JAPSI) of Universitas Diponegoro, also provided counseling and career guidance services aimed at helping participants better understand their potential and more effectively plan for their academic and professional futures.
This event stands as tangible proof of the alumni’s contributions in bridging synergy between higher education and the community. Through such collaboration, alumni not only serve as strategic partners for the campus in expanding the social impact of psychological knowledge but also embody the application of psychological values within the context of empowering educational communities. The active role of alumni in initiating and organizing this activity illustrates how the spirit of service is sustained to support Universitas Diponegoro as a campus of dignity and benefit. Such collaboration also serves as a means of transferring experience and knowledge across generations, strengthening the network among lecturers, students, and alumni in carrying out the three pillars (tridharma) of higher education in a sustainable manner.
Prior to the pesantren activity, the Undip Faculty of Psychology also welcomed a visit from students and teachers of MA Nahdlatul Muslimin Kudus on September 25, 2025. The students, representing the honor classes, had the opportunity to get to know the Faculty of Psychology’s profile, faculty members, laboratory and clinic facilities, student activities, student achievements, and the various entrance pathways to the Undergraduate Psychology Study Program at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Diponegoro. This series of activities is expected to strengthen the relationship between the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Diponegoro and the Nahdlatul Muslimin Kudus Foundation, as well as inspire students to pursue further studies and contribute to the field of psychology in the future.
