Work Meeting of the Faculty of Psychology, Diponegoro University 2018

Faculty of Psychology, Diponegoro University, held a 2018 Faculty Work Meeting on Friday, November 9 2018. The Faculty Work Meeting was intended to evaluate targeted performance as the 2018 Contract and Agreement between the dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Rector of Diponegoro University; to plan and develop achievement strategies of performance targets in the following years.
Dr. Hastaning Sakti, M.Kes., Psychologist, as dean, gave a presentation concerning Faculty Work Plan up to 2025. In 2025, Faculty of Psychology is expected to show international gait. In addition to the priority of development strategies through the establishment of the Master of Science education program and Foreign Cooperation, AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance) certification are also starting to be prepared and becoming the target of 2021. The development to the international arena is inseparable from the vision of making the faculty a center for research-based psychology education that focuses on improving the quality of family life. Both the internal institutions of the Faculty of Psychology and Diponegoro University are expected to be able to provide support which in line with these achievement targets. Focus Group Discussion was also carried out to develop strategies that are synergistic between fields so that the achievement targets can be realized.
Besides the activities which was intended to evaluate the faculty performance and to plan of faculty development strategies, the work meeting also invited Prof. Dr. rer. nat, Heru Susanto, St., MT., MM as the head of the PAK (Credit Score Rating) team, Undip 2018, to explain about “Career Development Strategies for Lecturers in Supporting Undip as Research University”. Lecturer career development is expected to be directed to support Diponegoro University in global competition, namely by increasing the productivity of research results publication. The productivity of publications has proven to be strongly related to the economic conditions of a country. In addition to its implications for promotion, barriers both internal to individuals and institutions are the focus of the presentation.
