BACHELOR OF PSYCHOLOGY STUDY PROGRAM S1

The Bachelor of Psychology Study Programme is based on the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology, Education, and Culture (Permenristekdikbud) Number 53 of 2023 concerning Quality Assurance in Higher Education, namely:

  1. Mastering theoretical concepts in specific fields of knowledge and general and specific skills to solve problems procedurally in accordance with the scope of their work.
  2. Being able to adapt to changing situations.

KEUNGGULAN

The Undergraduate Psychology Study Program at Diponegoro University has been accredited with Excellence by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education, based on the BAN-PT Accreditation Decree No. 9868/SK/BAN-PT/Akred-ItnI/s/I/2023, valid from January 18, 2023, to November 25, 2026 as well as international accreditation from FIBAA.

OBJECTIVES

  • Mastering basic psychological knowledge in the effort to understand human behavior according to the principles of psychology.
  • Mastering the principles and methods of psychological assessment.
  • Mastering the basic principles of psychological intervention.
  • Being able to conduct research, studies, and scientific publications in the field of psychology in accordance with the applicable code of ethics in psychology, particularly in family psychology.
  • Possessing sensitivity to Pancasila values and actively participating in solving problems within families, communities, and society.
  • Being globally competitive with excellent character.
