The Dean of the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), Prof. Dian Ratna Sawitri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., participated as a presenter at the Joint Congress of ICOH-WOPS & APA-PFAW 2025 with the theme “IMAGINE! SHAPING TOMORROW: WORK & WELL-BEING.” This event is an international scientific conference jointly organized by ICOH-WOPS (Scientific Committee on Work Organization & Psychosocial Factors – International Commission on Occupational Health) and APA-PFAW (Asia Pacific Academy for Psychosocial Factors at Work). The conference was held at the University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from December 10 to 12, 2025.
As Indonesia’s representative for the Asia Pacific Academy for Psychosocial Factors at Work, Prof. Dian Ratna Sawitri, Ph.D’s participation was part of EQUITY PROJECT UNDIP Batch 1 Year 2025 – the Presenting at International Scientific Conferences on SDGs Scheme, which demonstrates UNDIP’s real support for strengthening academic capacity, research internationalization, and the university’s strategic contribution to the global sustainable development agenda.
This conference was a prestigious international scientific forum that brought together academics, researchers, and practitioners from various countries to discuss current issues related to psychosocial factors in the workplace, occupational health and safety, leadership, organizational governance, and public policy. The forum also promoted cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural collaboration to strengthen mental health and worker well-being at the global level. In this forum, Prof. Dian Ratna Sawitri, Ph.D presented a research paper entitled “The Career Resilience Scale: Development and Initial Validation”, a collaborative work between the Faculty of Psychology UNDIP and the School of Applied Psychology, Griffith University. This study makes an important contribution to the development of research-based psychological instruments for measuring career resilience, while strengthening the UNDIP Faculty of Psychology’s position as a leading center for work and organizational psychology research in the Asia-Pacific region.
Furthermore, this research aligns with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth)—affirming UNDIP’s role as a noble and valuable university for the global community. Through active participation in this international forum, the Faculty of Psychology UNDIP continues to demonstrate its commitment to producing impactful research, expanding its international academic network, and making tangible contributions to improving the well-being and mental health of the world of work. This achievement also strengthens the reputation of Universitas Diponegoro as a world-class institution that consistently prioritizes academic excellence and global impact.
