Independance is a Student Activities Unit at the Faculty of Psychology, Undip, that serves as a forum and medium for students to channel their interests and talents in the field of traditional dance. The Independance unit is divided into two teams: the Traditional Team, which focuses on studying various dances from Central Java, and the Ratoh Jaroe Team.

In addition to routine weekly practice sessions with professional coaches, Independance organizes several annual programs, including Beauty Classes, visitation events with other artsrelated student units at UNDIP, and member upgrading sessions.

Independance encourages its members to actively participate in various competitions. Among the achievements earned by this unit are First Place in the 2023 Kamadiksi Arts Competition and a Silver Medal at the Festival Indonesiana.
