The commencement of collaborative international community service initiatives involving the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) and International Organization for Migration (IOM) took place at the IOM Indonesia Office, located in the Sampoerna Strategic Square Building, Jakarta, on August 5, 2025. This initiative was launched by esteemed faculty members from the Faculty of Psychology at UNDIP, including Dr. Kartika Sari Dewi, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist; Dr. Unika Prihatsanti, S.Psi., M.A., Psychologist; and Arif Triman, S.Psi., M.Ed. They collaborated with Mr. Akmal Haris, the Community Accountability Coordinator of IOM Indonesia, and Mrs. Anastasia Wijayanti, the Psychosocial Support Coordinator of IOM Indonesia.
This international community service initiative is consistent with the core mission of UNDIP, which is to connect academic innovation with tangible outcomes, thereby advancing its vision of being recognised as one of the Top 500 World-Class Universities. This activity is anticipated to not only result in a formal cooperation between the IOM and the Faculty of Psychology, UNDIP, but also to prepare the ground for future collaborative research, the development of sustainable community initiatives, and the enhancement of skills.
