A student team from the Psychology Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Diponegoro, successfully won 1st place in the National Research Competition 2025 organized by the Faculty of Psychology at Pancasila University. This work was initiated by Eirene Kezia Simarmata and Angelica Augustine Marito, students of the class of 2022, under the guidance of Dr. Lusi Nur Ardhiani, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog.
The research, titled “Psychometric Properties of the Indonesian Version of the Self-Critical Rumination Scale,” focuses on the adaptation and validation of a psychological measurement tool that assesses the extent to which individuals frequently fall into patterns of overly self-critical thinking. Through this research, the team hopes to help universities, counselors, and psychology practitioners better understand students who experience negative thought patterns or emotional distress, so that they can receive appropriate support.
