The Faculty of Psychology has once again brought pride. Tasya Salsabila and Annisa Azalia, undergraduate Psychology students from the class of 2022, successfully won the Platinum Award at the Virtual Innovation & Invention of Ideas Competition (VIIIC) 2025, organized by The Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Puncak Alam, Malaysia. This competition has been running since June 2025 and the winners were announced on November 7, 2025.
In this prestigious international competition, Tasya and Azalia collaborated with an interdisciplinary team: Bravely Dirgayuska and Dzikri Razzan Athallah from Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering UNDIP, and Putri Aulia from the Faculty of Economics and Business UNDIP. Under the guidance of Ika Zenita Ratnaningsih, Ph.D., a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology UNDIP, the team created an innovation titled “RETENSYNC: A Predictive Retention Platform Integrating Psychological Insights and Performance Data to Reduce Employee Turnover.”
RETENSYNC is a predictive analytics-based platform that combines performance data with psychological indicators to more accurately map employee turnover risk. This application is designed to help organizations enhance their retention strategies, understand employees’ psychological dynamics, and prevent the loss of valuable talent through a data-driven approach.
This achievement not only demonstrates the competence of UNDIP Psychology students in innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration, but also proves that psychological approaches have a strategic role in developing solutions for the industrial world.
Congratulations to the entire team! Keep creating and inspiring!
