STUDENT SENATE

The Diponegoro University Faculty of Psychology Student Senate, or SMF Psikologi Undip, is a high legislative student body at the faculty level that carries out its duties based on the three functions of the senate, namely oversight, legislation, and budgeting, as well as an additional function of advocacy. In accordance with its functions, SMF Psychology Undip acts as a liaison between the faculty’s academic community and is the only institution with the authority to formulate regulations, oversee activities, and allocate funding for student activities for all Student Organisations within the Faculty of Psychology through the General Meeting on Fund Allocation. The SM F.Psikologi Undip also routinely holds Accountability Meetings to monitor the work programmes organised by Student Organisations, from the quality of the programmes to the allocation of funds.

As a high legislative body, the Student Senate equips its members with legislative skills and experience, such as meeting techniques and organisation, budgeting, drafting legislative products, and advocating for aspirations, which can only be obtained by students in this institution. Additionally, the Student Senate provides a broad platform for its members to develop interests and talents beyond legislative activities through programmes offered within the organisation or through collaborations with other student bodies.
