Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) proudly announces the 8th PSYCHE Summer Course 2026, an international academic program that brings together students from around the world to explore the intersection of psychology, environment, and culture.

Responding to global priorities in advancing sustainable development and holistic wellbeing, this year’s theme, “Fostering Sustainable Wellbeing through Ecopsychology and Cultural Heritage,” highlights the interconnectedness between human wellbeing, natural ecosystems, and cultural values. The program is designed to encourage international collaboration and deepen participants’ understanding of how ecological awareness and cultural heritage contribute to psychological resilience and sustainable living.

The summer course will be held in Semarang, Indonesia, from July 13–17, 2026, featuring a combination of interactive lectures, hands-on workshops, and experiential field activities. Participants will engage in diverse learning experiences, including Indonesian cultural workshops, environmental activities such as mangrove planting, and field visits to cultural and historical sites. The program also features international guest speakers and experts, offering participants valuable global perspectives and academic enrichment.

Through this immersive program, participants will:

• Analyze the relationship between human wellbeing, natural environments, and cultural heritage
• Explore the role of indigenous knowledge in promoting sustainable wellbeing
• Apply ecopsychological principles to real-world contexts
• Evaluate environmental and cultural influences on mental health
• Develop cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills

Participation in this program is highly selective, with only 25 participants to be admitted. Selected participants are required to pay a program fee of IDR 1,000,000 (approximately USD 60–65).
