The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Diponegoro held a Visiting Professor & Lecturer Program on the topic: “Enhancing Knowledge for Beginner Researchers: Identifying Main Messages and Trustworthiness for Qualitative Data Analysis,” featuring Dr. Indra Yohanes Kiling, Associate Professor at the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences and Leisure Management, Taylor’s University, Selangor, Malaysia. This event, held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM WIB via the Zoom Meeting platform, was attended by undergraduate students enrolled in the Qualitative Research Methods course, Thesis 1 and Thesis 2 courses, as well as Master’s (S2) students who have taken the Thesis Proposal Seminar with a qualitative method at the Faculty of Psychology UNDIP.
Through this program, participants gained in-depth insights into the development and direction of psychological research using qualitative methods, how to conduct data analysis to derive key themes, as well as how to properly and accurately verify research data. This program reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Psychology at UNDIP to enhancing academic quality and global collaboration, in line with the vision of a World Class University (WCU).
