The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Diponegoro was present and contributed to the Kecamatan Berdaya Children’s Festival, held at the Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB) on Saturday, November 22, 2025. The event was officially opened by the Vice Governor of Central Java, Taj Yasin Maimoen. This festival, which took place from November 21–23, 2025, was the result of a collaboration between the Office of Women and Children of Central Java Province, the Batang District Government, UNICEF Indonesia, the Central Java Children’s Forum, and children’s forums from various levels. The event was also attended by child representatives from East Java, Yogyakarta, West Java, Jakarta, and Bali, who came together to learn from each other, exchange perspectives, and strengthen advocacy networks for children’s rights.
In commemoration of World Children’s Day, a team of psychologists from the Faculty of Psychology at UNDIP collaborated with the Batang District Health Office to provide psychological counseling services as part of a series of free health check-ups, supporting the fulfillment of children’s rights to health, protection, and optimal growth and development.
On this occasion, the Vice Governor of Central Java, Taj Yasin Maimoen; the Regent of Batang, M. Faiz Kurniawan, S.H., M.H.; the Chairperson of TP PKK Batang, Faelasufa, S.IP., M.PP.; and KITB Corporate Secretary, Burhan Murtaki, S.T., M.M., also visited and reviewed the psychological consultation services organized by the UNDIP Psychology Team.
